Since moving to Oviedo in 1991, Ken Calhoon, CLU® and KRC Financial Planning have been serving people by advising our multiple clients on financial products and services for the last 30+ years. As an independent insurance agent, most of Ken’s practice has focused around retirement savings and pension work for thousands of clients in Florida and nationwide.

For the last 20+ years, Ken Calhoon has aligned as a Regional Director with AIP Marketing Alliance, an Integrity Company, in Troy, Michigan to diversify his services and grow KRC Planning into a full-service agency with hundreds of downline agents. Through AIPMA, KRC Planning’s agents gain access to more than 60 top-rated insurance carriers, real-time insurance quote engines, annuity rates, e-Applications with applicable carriers, and resources designed to minimize turnaround time.

KRC Planning also leverages our carrier relationships to provide our clients with an ability to “shop the market” for products and competitive pricing. Some of these carriers include: AETNA, Allianz, American Equity, American General, American National, AXA Equitable, Humana, John Hancock, Lincoln Financial, Mutual of Omaha, Nationwide, Principal, Prudential, and Transamerica.

About Ken Calhoon

Ken Calhoon and his wife, Candi, have raised four children in Oviedo. Their children were involved in a myriad of school activities such as band, dance, academics, and a lot of sports. They all finished college with two graduating as Florida Gators, one graduating a University of South Florida Bull, and one graduating as a University of Central Florida Knight.

On a personal level, golf is one of Ken’s passions and you will occasionally see him playing 18 at Twin Rivers Golf Club which is conveniently located close to his home. How many people can claim to have three holes in one? Ken feels blessed and lucky to accomplish that feat and he hopes to someday play golf with his nine grandchildren.
